Things have been pretty eventful for the LUG over the the last few weeks, and it looks as though it’s not going to slow down in the immediate future.
Unless you’ve had your head in the sand, you’ll be aware that for the last couple of months we’ve held our meetings at Mustard Cafe Bar on Princes Avenue. The general concensus has been that Marian and her team can privide us with what will be our home for the foreseeable future. Of course we’ve had fun checking out other places over the winter, particually Xanders who provided a great venue for our Festive Feast in December.
With this in mind, our next meeting will soon be upon us. The first Tuesday of May falls on 1st May, and as promised there’s an event marked up on our Facebook page. As ever reminders will go out from the mailing list and on Twitter (@hulluklug).
Linux Format Magazine normally hits the newsstands on the first Thursday of the month. There will be a write-up about Hull LUG in the Linux User Groups pages (normally around page 14), in the forthcoming issue (released on or around 3rd May).
